the [most] wonderful time of the year

So that beautiful day of the year [or 31 days, or 63 days—I'm a believer in the holidays lasting from Halloween to New Years Day] is pretty much over. Aw well. It always does that so quickly. But then, so doesn't the rest of the year? It's amazing how days seem to slowly speed up, as years are added onto your age?? Time — the one thing in life that never changes and that you can never get back.

I just wanted to share a few pictures from my Christmas season, in hopes that yours was a great one!!

Our beautiful Christmas tree. My grandmother is absolutely magic when it comes to any kind of artistic vision. I wish the picture could do it justice. I never want to take the tree down.

C and I built a snowman on Christmas Eve after sledding, hucking snowballs at each other and making snow angels. We had to be creative with supplies for the face...like a bunch of berries for the mouth, pine needles for hair and uneven rocks for eyes. He's our special friend.
This is actually not my picture [you can tell with the improved quality], but a friend's while they were skiing one day last week. Utah is gorgeous, isn't it?
